Those family sized 100g Cadbury special dark chocolate bars are the bane of my existance. If I could stop eating those daily I'd save 560 calories a day.
Y'know, sometimes I'm amazed I don't weigh more, considering all the junk I eat. I walk a lot, so that must help keep me relatively trim.

Um, yeah
Ok, yesterday was a good example of an epic fail. Let's see if I can remember all that I ate.
Anyway, not going to bother weighing myself this morning.
- Bagel with margarine and marmalade
- Cupcake
- Cadbury family sized dark chocolate bar
- 6 inch chicken teryaki sub with lettuce, cucumber, green pepper and onions
- Glass of milk
- Glass of chocolate milk
- 3 cookies
- Mars bar
- Kraft dinner and a small salad
- Bowl of ice cream and chocolate sauce
- Some more dark chocolate
Anyway, not going to bother weighing myself this morning.

Day 1
Weighed myself this morning - still at 180 lbs. Which is good, if I had put on any weight in the last few days, that would have sucked.
Right now I'm actively resisting eating a chocolate bar.

Goal Setting
They say it's easier to lose weight if you write out your plan and/or write out everything you eat. Going to do both with this blog. If I succeed, maybe it will give a reader who happens upon this blog inspriation to do the same. If not, well, it will give me an idea of what doesn't work so I can try something different next time.
I'm not obese. I am overweight though. I'm currently 180 lbs. I've got a good sized gut and you can see the weight in my face. I'd like to weight 160 lbs or less. You would think that just losing 20 pounds would be easy. But unfortunately, I'm a creature of habit who also has a well established sugar addiction. Hard to stay away from the junk food.
Why do I want to diet? Many reasons:
